The impressive cave Goa Cerme is located in the middle of Java. It is about 2 kilometers long and in large parts of the cave is water up to one and a half meters deep. And yes, you are going to get wet. You walk from room to room, where you are enchanted by stalagmites and stalactites, bats, an underground river and a waterfall.
You need to be fit to visit the cave. In the rainy season it is quite dangerous. Furthermore, you will need a set of dry clothes for later. It is wise to wear an old pair of trousers and a t-shirt in the cave. You need sturdy shoes, a flashlight or a headlamp and a safety helmet. Pack your things well in a waterproof bag, because you stumble easily and that is not good for your mobile and camera. Speaking of camera: bring an underwater camera with you. That’s definitely worth it.
